Frequently asked questions
Which AI clients are supported?
FORMLOVA provides primary support for Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Codex, Cursor. Eligible plan and setup details come from the canonical compatibility data. Claude is Available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise. Free is limited to one custom connector. In Claude, open Customize > Connectors, add the FORMLOVA remote MCP URL, and authenticate with OAuth. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner must add the connector first. ChatGPT is Available on Plus and Pro on the web. Business, Enterprise, and Edu are also officially eligible for developer mode. In ChatGPT on the web, enable Developer mode under Settings > Security and login, create a remote MCP app for FORMLOVA, and authenticate with OAuth. Developer mode on the web is required. Write actions follow ChatGPT confirmation settings and FORMLOVA permissions. Codex uses a separate path. Available with ChatGPT Free, Go, Plus, Pro, Business, Edu, or Enterprise, or with an API key. Add the FORMLOVA remote URL to the Codex MCP configuration, then authenticate with OAuth. API key usage is billed at OpenAI API rates. Write actions follow Codex approval settings and FORMLOVA permissions. All six clients support both read and write. See /en/setup#client-compatibility in the setup guide for details.
Do I need an account before connecting?
No account is needed to check setup or add the connection address (MCP server URL). On first real use, log in or sign up through the authentication screen. Some clients need a restart or reconnect before tools appear.
Can I manage responses and run email ops entirely from chat?
Yes. Search, tagging, status updates, individual replies, filtered bulk email, non-respondent detection, and per-contact email tracking can all be done from chat. Campaign progress is available as a safe summary without recipient addresses or message bodies, while pause, resume, and cancel require explicit confirmation; resume requires a fresh browser re-preview first.
Do I still need the dashboard?
Daily ops run in chat. Use the dashboard for list views, monitoring, and detailed checks.
How is this different from other form tools?
Manage responses, notifications, email, analytics, and A/B tests in the same chat after creating a form.
Can I use my own domain for forms?
Yes. With the Custom Domain add-on (+¥1,480/month, tax incl., available on any plan), you can use your own domain (e.g., forms.yourcompany.com) for form URLs. You can also set up a custom email sender domain. DNS configuration is self-service from the dashboard.
Can I integrate with Google Sheets and other services?
Automatic response sync to Google Sheets is available on Standard plan and above. For MCP-compatible services like HubSpot, Salesforce, Slack, and Notion, connect them alongside FORMLOVA and complete any required authentication to use the integration without additional implementation on FORMLOVA.
What is auto sales email detection?
Classify sales pitches in form responses and exclude them from analytics or exports. Available on all plans; misclassifications can be corrected manually.
